Library
The library is situated in the centre of the school and therefore at its heart. Students and teachers are encouraged to come to the library during lessons or breaks to take advantage of the resources on offer.
In addition to books, the library offers reference materials, computers, audio-visual materials and periodicals.
The English department has timetabled lessons for all students in years 7, 8 and 9 (Grade 6, 7, 8), which form part of the Middle Years Programme.
Rewards are on offer through the library for our students for "Reader of the Month". They are also offered other incentives to make them appreciate the benefits of spending time in the library.
We have a Book Fair coming up at the beginning of February, when students and teachers can browse through a selection of books prior to buying. Our students are also encouraged to buy books through a catalogue for the books to be delivered to school, to further enhance their reading and knowledge.
