Achievement Center

Al Jazeera Academy believes each child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and to become a functioning member of society. Participating in education with other children of the same age offers learning opportunities which cannot be replicated in a segregated setting. Research has proven that a child with learning disabilities will progress faster and further, both academically and socially, when included in mainstream education.

At present, we are able to offer a set number of places within our mainstream classes to children who have diagnosed mild special needs.

The learner will have to fulfill our admission criteria. The learner's behaviour must be manageable and not detrimental to the safety or learning of the applicant or the other pupils in the class. If deemed necessary, a shadow teacher (approved by the school) will need to accompany the learner. The learner must have the potential to progress within the AJA environment. The learner will be supported by the Achievement Center staff and an Individual Education Plan will be developed to facilitate their ongoing development.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you would like any more information.
