Our Vision

Al Jazeera Academy will provide an outstanding international education for all its students which:

  • delivers high quality, internationally recognised educational programmes, guided by highly talented, skilled and dedicated teachers in world-class educational facilities, using innovative teaching and learning methods, and the latest technologies to foster a tradition of excellence;
  • encourages each student to pursue personal and academic excellence to his or her maximum potential in a caring school environment;
  • develops a strong and productive relationship between our staff and our parents, recognising the fundamental importance of the shared responsibilities and responding to the expectations and aspirations each party has for the students;
  • provides students with an excellent foundation for further education and training in universities throughout the world, particularly in the Gulf area, North America, the United Kingdom and Australasia.

Our Beliefs

The actions of our staff are guided by four core beliefs.
Learning
We have a positive approach to learning and encourage it in others. We advance student learning based on our belief that all students have the capacity to learn.
Excellence
We have high expectations of ourselves and our students. We set standards of excellence and strive to achieve them. These standards and expectations challenge all of us to give of our best.

Equity
We have a right to a workplace that is free of discrimination, abuse or exploitation. We recognise the differing circumstances and needs of our students and are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all.

Care
We treat all individuals with care. Our relationships are based on mutual respect, trust and the acceptance of responsibility. In stating these beliefs, we acknowledge that the words alone are not sufficient. It is the actions, based on these beliefs, which are important.
