Use the 3 warnings system
- Each class has a behaviour chart with traffic lights (green, orange, red)
- All students begin each day with their name on the green light and may move between the lights depending on their adherence to the School and Class Essential Agreements.
- At the end of each day the final stop is recorded on a class list by the teacher.
- Students who stay on green all week are acknowledged by the teacher and the class (maybe with a class clap during circle time etc). Perhaps those who have visited orange or red lights could also be encouraged to set a goal for the next week and their peers can then encourage them
