Arrival and Collections

We have a very strict policy relating to the bringing to school and collection of children. This applies to the normal school day and any other time that students are in the school's care, e.g. special events and sporting events outside the school.

  • It is the responsibly of the parent/guardian to ensure that students arrive on time and are collected on time. Please ensure that you are on time or inform the school if you are going to be late or if your child will be absent for the day.

  • We ask that you provide the details and contact numbers of all persons who are to bring or collect your child from the school entered into our database which is stored centrally and managed by the Admin Team of the school. It is the responsibility of the parent to keep this information up to date.

  • The school will only allow the person, whose name we have, to collect your child unless you give prior written permission for another to do so and they agree to their information being inserted into our database.

  • Staff of the school reserves the right and are encouraged to challenge anyone collecting a child with whom we are not familiar.

  • The school does not allow students to be taken from classes early unless they have a very valid reason, i.e., a medical appointment, they are unwell, or they have to travel early. In such cases we ask that parents provide relevant documentation to verify the reason. This is because taking a student out of school early, for whatever reason, is likely to have a detrimental effect on their learning and that of their classmates due to class disturbance.

  • However, if you require your child to be taken out of school earlier for a valid reason then you are asked to complete the signing in and out register in the main office.

  • Children are handed over to parents at designated areas only. Parents should not deliver or collect their children from classrooms above Year 2 (Grade-1).

  • Maids and drivers who collect children on parent's behalf must not enter the building except for the designated reception areas.
