I am delighted to welcome you to the Primary section of Al Jazeera Academy and proud to introduce myself as the Head of primary. We boast a proud tradition and a holistic approach promoting firm values and a passion for learning within this unique International environment.

The primary section accommodates children in years 1 through 6 where the children are exposed to an enriched and challenging International curriculum empowering young minds. I am passionate about creating opportunities for children to be thinkers, explorers, collaborators and develop a growth mindset preparing them for future.

It is my privilege to work with a dynamic staffing team who are committed to their own professional learning and are mindful of children’s development. We pride ourselves on developing strong relationships with the children and their parents. This is viewed as an important partnership and a valued collaboration focusing on ensuring success for our children.

In keeping with the school motto ‘Our students are creative learners today and the future leaders of tomorrow’, we aim to:

  • Cultivate a happy and purposeful learning community where children have a natural compulsion to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities.
  • Ensure that an inspiring curriculum is provided for our children within an exciting and interactive learning environment
  • Strive to inspire children to have a lifelong love for learning and the confidence to ‘think big’.
