AJA - An IB World School is an English medium school which opened in September 2002. It caters for students from 3 years up to 18 years of age. The Academy provides three different and separate learning environments, and our international curriculum is broadly based and designed to meet the wide range of student needs and abilities.

AJA opened in September 2002. It is a modern international educational institution that comprises three separate schools within a single campus to cater for all students from Preschool to Year 13. Our three schools are:
° The Primary School (Preschool – Year 6);
° The Secondary Girls School (Years 7 – 13); and
° The Secondary Boys School (Years 7 – 13).
In September of 2005, AJA commenced the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s Diploma Programme. The IB Diploma Programme is a demanding two year, pre-university course of study that leads to examinations. It is for highly motivated students aged 16 to 19.
Al Jazeera Academy is a purpose-built international school with world-class state-of-the-art educational facilities.
The Academy has 53 general primary and secondary classrooms built to international school standards. Our classrooms are spacious with good natural light and equipped with the latest audio-visual and multi-media equipment and resources.

Our general classrooms in the Primary School have a wide variety of the latest educational resources. They are planned to provide students with a variety of learning environments.
